Welcome to the Ramkin Rattery

Please remember that it will be at least 9 weeks from the proposed mating time before kittens will be ready to leave for their new homes. This includes 3 weeks gestation period and 6 weeks growing up here.

Ramkin Nanny Ogg (Burmese) X Mercury Mickey (BE Russian Blue Point Siamese)

Day 1, 08/03/2010:

14 babies, all fed with lovely milk bands.

Day 2, 09/03/2010:

All babies are still present and correct. Early indications are that there is at least one dumbo, but it is really still too early to say for sure.

Possibly dumbly boy-face:

Day 3, 10/03/2010

Spot the little roan face in the pictures.

Day 4, 11/03/2010

Sadly Mr. Roan Man has vanished. I am praying he will magically reappear tomorrow but I very much doubt it

However, the other 13 are doing great:

Day 7, 15/03/2010

We are a week old today, and are now getting our first baby fluffs:

Some of us have decided we want to be Siamese Roan girls:

Us three boys who are confusing mummy by apparently being 2 shades of Burmese

Check out the darker boy in the middle (he has white toes but I think I can forgive him that)

And ONE of us decided to try and be far too super advanced and open part of an eye yesterday... At 6 days old... I am a little concerned by this, but hopefully she will be fine.

Day 7, 15/03/2010

We are bigger now, and we are definitely deciding what we are:

All babies:

The three Burmese boys (still think I willll be keeping the darkest one - he is also the biggest)

The Siamese Roan Girls:

Roanie Number One:

Roanie Number Two:

The two Burmese Girls:

Miss Super-Advanced Siamese Girl:

Fortunately her eye seems normal - just early opening!

Day 16, 24/03/2010:

All babies:

Miss Black Eyed Siamese Girl - she is staying.

The two Burmese girls:

The three Burmese boys:

Day 17, 25/03/2010:

All babies:

We all have eyes and have feets and are managing to climb all over the place - poor mummy has given up trying to keep us all in one place!
