Guest Stud Bucks:
Occasionally, in order to ensure the continuity of my lines I will need to stud out one of my does to a buck from another rattery. This can happen due to a lack of a suitable stud buck in Ramkin Rattery, or to ensure a fresh influx of DNA to prevent too close an in-breed.
This page is to honour those lads without whom our litters would not have been possible.
Hakuna Matata Cosmology
Cosmo is a Russian Blue point Siamese who sired a litter with Evie for me. One of the bucks from this litter will hopefully sire the first litter containing Russian Blue Burmese rats with HKM Jeannie of the Long Lake Clan in the late Autumn.
Cosmo is a laid back soppy buck whose absolutely fantastic temperament has been passed to his children.
Redwall Devil in Disguise
Spellbound is a Burmese Rex buck who is so laid back he is practically horizontal. Yet this soppy lad is still occasionally capable of popcorning with the best kittens, and is always ready for a cuddle and a kiss. We hope that he will father a litter with Ramkin Susan Sto Helit. He may also have the chance to father a litter with Ramkin Adorabelle Dearheart, but this depends on a number of factors.
Ramkin Radley Bear
Radley is a Burmese rex who was born as part of our first litter - Razzy and Teddy are his parents. His owner kindly allowed me to borrow him back to sire a litter with Ramkin Magrat Garlick.
Mercury Mickey:
Mickey is a gorgeous buck who has won several shows in his heyday, and his son has also won shows. In addition, he has the most wonderful temperament, and so I hope all of these traits are passed to his offspring with Nanny.
